Ordering & delivery
Is every piece made to order?
Most of them, yes. Each Atelier Palmier design is made in a limited quantity — often one unique piece. If an item is marked available on backorder, we craft it from scratch for you in our Antwerp atelier. Production usually takes 2 to 4 weeks; we'll personally reach out after your order to confirm details.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks from order confirmation for made-to-order pieces. Pieces in stock ship sooner. All shipments are fully insured and arrive in our signature packaging.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping in Belgium is calculated at checkout and free from €750. Pick-up in Antwerp is possible — select it at checkout. EU and international shipping is calculated at checkout; every parcel is insured.
Can I return a piece?
Yes — you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return, provided the piece is unworn, in its original packaging and with proof of purchase. Custom, personalised and sale items can't be returned. Email info@atelierpalmier.com to start a return; the return label cost is deducted from your refund.
Sizing & customisation
I don't know my ring size — what now?
Take a ring that already fits the same finger and measure its inner diameter, or visit us in the atelier and we'll size you on the spot. Rings are made to order in your exact size. If you're ordering a surprise, email us — we'll help you find the right size discreetly.
Can I customise a design?
Most pieces, yes. Rings: choose your gemstone, ring size and gold colour (yellow, white or rose). Charms: your birthstone, your letter or your gold colour. Earrings are sold individually so you can mix and match. Options are shown on each product page; if you don't see what you're looking for, ask us.
Do you engrave?
Yes, on engravable pieces such as the Oval Plate Charm and Heart Plate Charm. Engraving adds about 10 working days to production.
What gold do you use?
Everything is made in solid 18k gold, set with diamonds and coloured gemstones. We're also happy to repurpose your own old gold and stones into a new, contemporary piece.
Bespoke & engagement
How does a bespoke commission work?
It starts with a conversation. We meet in the atelier (or online), talk through your ideas, stones and budget, and develop a design that fits you. Once approved, the piece is handcrafted using traditional techniques. Engagement rings from The Carat Club collection are made fully custom in 4 to 8 weeks.
Do you make engagement and wedding rings?
Yes. The Carat Club is our engagement ring collection — pieces you can choose as-is or use as a starting point for something fully bespoke. Our wedding collection ('Say Yes') and bespoke wedding bands are made during a dedicated appointment.
Visiting us
Can I visit the atelier?
Yes, by appointment. Book your showroom visit — choose the type of appointment, pick a date and time, and you'll receive a confirmation by email. We're based in Antwerp.
